TikTok Ban In India: Ashnoor Kaur With 3.3 Million Followers Says, 'These Apps Were A Distraction For The Youth'- EXCLUSIVE
Indian Government's ban on Chinese App TikTok along with other 58 applications, has stirred many emotions, memes and discussions on social media. We have been talking to a lot of actors who are quite active on TikTok to know what they feel about the decision.

Yesterday, we brought to you the response of Jannat Zubair Rahmani who is also a popular TikToker. She was in support of the decision. And now, we contacted Patiala Babes actress Ashnoor Kaur, who also seconds the decision.

Though the actress was not a very active member on the platform, still she enjoyed a fan-following of millions. However, the actress has no issues losing out on them for the nation.

Talking to us exclusively Ashnoor said, "I am very  happy and totally in for the decision. I feel all the Chinese Apps, not only TikTok but other Apps also, were a major distraction especially for the youth. It has become a very important part of our life. Now, when it has been banned, I feel people can be more productive and utilise their time in a better way. Also, they can use the Indian Apps which is another very crucial way to achieve the goal of Atmanirbhar Bharat. The decision will be easier now."

Patiala Babes actress also added, "As an actor, of course, your fans want you to be active on such platforms. Even I used to make videos on it but very occasionally. However, since the India and China tensions started, I was avoiding it. There can nothing be more than your country.  I am really proud of my soldiers. If they are safeguarding us by putting their life's in danger, we can at least support them by giving up on these apps. I am really proud of the decision taken by Indian government and I am totally in support of it."

Ashnoor reveals that the actress made her account initially when it was called musically with other child artistes but deleted it in 6 months time. She made a comeback on the platform one and half a year back due to fans' demand. "Even though I came back, I used to post videos very rarely. But I had I guess around 3.3 million followers," said Ashnoor.
